Check in at places you've been. Wish lists for places you want to go. Coming from Swarm? Import your Foursquare/Swarm Check-ins from the Settings menu.
Want to find out what’s happening in cities or areas throughout the world? Pan the map over the desired area and see what people are talking about. Zoom in and zoom out to focus on your desired location.
Use cases for The Midst are ever evolving. It’s an information source, it’s a place for general musing. What ever is going on in your area or in your mind, it fits in The Midst.

Post
The Midst is a location-based social network and life logging app. Posting to The Midst drops a pin at your current location and is visible to anyone in the world.
Pan the map to see what's happening around the world. Posts expire after 24 hours, ensuring information remains relevant and up-to-date.
Posts can be anonymous by hiding your screen name in Settings.
Check In
Check-in by tapping a place on the map. Check-ins also post publicly to The Midst Not feeling social? With a simple toggle choose only to save check-ins to your Saved Places list. Places are saved only on your device.
Wish List
See someone post from a restaurant or coffee shop you’d like to visit someday? Tap their pin in The Midst to add that place to your wishlist.
